ABSTRACT GUIDELINES

* The Scientific Committee of ISSP Yuva Pain PhysiciansCon 2026 invites abstracts for E-Poster Presentations only.
* Each registered delegate may submit one abstract as the presenting author.
* Abstracts should preferably be original research, case reports, case series, clinical audits, quality improvement projects, educational innovations, or novel pain management techniques.
* Abstracts previously published or presented at any national or international conference will not be accepted.
* The Scientific Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any abstract. The decision of the committee shall be final.
* Accepted abstracts will be presented only as E-Posters.
* Presentation time: 3 minutes presentation followed by 2 minutes discussion.

Title

  • Maximum 20 words
  • Must be written in UPPER CASE
  • Font Size: 12, Bold

Authors

  • Presenting author should be listed first.
  • Font Size: 11
  • Include department, institution, city and country.

Abstract Text

  • Maximum 250 words
  • Font Size: 10
  • Single spacing
  • Font: Arial, Calibri, Verdana, Times New Roman or Helvetica
  • Abstract should be written in clear English.

ABSTRACT STRUCTURE

The abstract should include the following headings:

Introduction:
Brief background highlighting the need for the study or case.

Aim & Objectives:
Clearly state the purpose of the work.

Methods:
Describe study design, patient population, methodology, interventions, statistical analysis and ethical approval where applicable.

Results
Present important findings with appropriate statistical or clinical outcomes.

Discussion
Interpret the findings and compare them with existing literature.

Conclusion
State the key message and its clinical relevance.

References (Optional)

TABLES, FIGURES & IMAGES

  • Maximum 3 tables or figures.
  • High-quality images only.
  • JPG or PNG format.
  • Images should clearly demonstrate the findings.
  • Figures and tables contribute towards the total word count.

  • Presentation format: Microsoft PowerPoint (.PPT/.PPTX)
  • Single-slide E-Poster
  • 6:9 Landscape orientation
  • aximum file size: 5 MB
  • R Codes may be included.
  • No animations or embedded videos.
  • High-resolution images (minimum 300 dpi) are recommended.
  • Ensure fonts are large and readable.
  • Use a clean and professional layout.

ABSTRACT SUBMITTER’S DECLARATION

The submitting author confirms that:

  • The work has not been presented previously.
  • Any conflict of interest has been declared.

  • Presentation Time: 3 minutes
  • Discussion: 2 minutes
  • Presenters should strictly adhere to the allotted time.
  • The Scientific Committee may select outstanding E-Posters for awards and recognition.

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Registration is mandatory for abstract submission.
  • Only registered delegates will be eligible to present.
  • Abstracts cannot be modified after the submission deadline.
  • Accepted abstracts may be published in the official conference proceedings.
  • The decision of the Scientific Committee shall be final in all matters related to abstract selection and presentation.
